At least 75% sourced from Swiss forests, wood lays an invaluable foundation stone as a raw material for laminate floors. Although harder than wood, Kronoswiss laminate floors are harder than stone, as reflected in their pleasant feel under the feet and their warm charisma. The simple fitting system, CRYSTAL-CLIC, makes light work of laying the floor. As each panel is laid rapid progress is seen and good ground made as a success story unfolds from wall to wall. What is more, if you have grown attached to the floor and want to take it with you when you move house or room – no problem, just unclick it and fit the floor again in the new place. What about cleaning? Scarcely worth mentioning – cleaning the room is implicitly itself – a broom or a damp cloth will bring gleaming results.
Monticello floors are:
Stain-resistant - light-fast - resistant to smouldering cigarette butts and ash - hard-wearing and crush resistant - natural and free from harmful materials - suitable for warm-water floor heating - abrasion-resistant and suitable for use with castors - comfortable to walk on with impact soundproofing - flame-retardant - easy to clean and resistant - prevents settlement of dirt and harmful bacteria

The ground rules for laying Needless to say, laminate floor panels cannot be laid on a screen slope or marshland. Well, they can, but it would be a blot on the landscape. No, seriously, a fine product such as this needs a proper base – every do-it-yourself floor layer knows that. Prior to lying, Kronoswiss laminate floors should be stored in the room horizontally for at least 48 hours at room temperature in the unopened pack. Before, during and at least three days after lying, the following room air conditions must be guaranteed: Floor surface: min. 15 °C Air temperature: min. 18 °C Humidity: 50 – 75% For cosmetic reasons Kronoswiss laminate floors should always be laid lengthwise in relation to the main source of light. Calculations should be made prior to lying as to the width of the last row of panel. Should it be narrower than 5 cm it will be necessary to cut the first panel lengthwise before starting. Kronoswiss laminate floor should always be floating, i.e., the underneath of the panels should not be stuck, nailed or fixed in any other way. After lying, skirting boards should be affixed to the wall, not to the floor! Please adhere strictly to the instructions for laying, as claims for compensation cannot be accepted in the event of improper use. Should problems arise when laying the floor, the work should be stopped immediately and the specialist retailer consulted?
